April 2015 Roundup

Yes, it’s May 13th and I’m just now realizing I forgot to do my monthly roundup post.

Hey, at least I’m 2 days earlier than I was in April;)

It was a big month! Finished up my daughter’s room, and started my son’s. Lots of fun stuff going on…I know it’s hard to catch everything, so I’ve linked it all up in one neat little post in case you missed anything! Let’s get started…

The month started with my daughter’s Gallery Wall.

Then I shared these fun Ikea wall lamps that I spray painted – they were a STEAL!

The Big Girl Room Reveal was one of my favorites! LOVE this room!

Especially the Gold Flecked Wall

…and the $10 Bed! (Yes, that’s headboard AND footboard for TEN DOLLARS – what the what?!)

I shared a fun way to make your own Custom Dry Erase Board:

And that wrapped up all the girly posts;)

Moving onto a DIY Ruler Table Runner that I’m still swooning over…

…and my DIY Glass Cloche made from an old vase and plate (and candle lid!).

And how about this CRAZY awesome find from Marshalls that organizes our stuff:

Then it was time to start the Big Boy Room! It began with this $7 DIY Headboard:

And finally, the month wrapped up with this easy lamp transformation – don’t shy away from the clearance aisle!

Whew! Another busy month – maybe this’ll be the month for the Big Boy Room Reveal?! Fingers crossed:)

  1. Thanks for posting all of your changes – wow, you really have been a busy mama! Can’t wait to see your son’s bedroom – gosh, your house is pretty much complete! Although there’s always something…….right?! Great job!

  2. I’m just blown away by all that you do! I have been trying to get our daughter’s room done for weeks! And somewhere in the middle of working on her room I decided to switch up our youngest son’s room. And then we got new living room furniture which required some finagling around with that room. So far we have the living room set up, the youngest one’s bed sitting sideways in our office (waiting on a dry day to go out and restain it) and the majority of the girl’s belongings piled in the center of their room. So, hats off to you! 🙂
