A Round-up post ON THE FIRST OF THE MONTH?!
Who is this person?!!!
😉
Here’s everything from the CRAZY busy but wonderful month of May, in case you missed anything!
Started out the month with the fastest “makeover” EVER…a plastic crab + gold spray paint = instant fanciness:
Then, I framed a few handwritten recipes of my grandmother’s. They were found in a cabinet when we moved in – perfect way to create some meaningful kitchen art:
I wrote a Mother’s Day post and thanked my amazing mom for “All The Moments:”
I scored the MOST awesome dresser from a yard sale site…ended up belonging to the dad of an old high school friend! Couldn’t be more perfect for my son’s room with a little paint and new hardware:
I shared (YET ANOTHER!) Dining Room Makeover. That room never stops changing!
Back to the Boy’s Room Makeover with a No-Paint Nightstand Makeover (I know, you’re as shocked as I was that I DIDN’T paint something!):
I also made some DIY (and free to me!) Memo Boards for the Boy’s Room – a dry erase one and a bulletin board:
I wrote a message to the Parents of Preschool Grads in my “You’re Gonna Make It” post:
And I wrapped up the month with a 100 year old school desk and chair makeover, that once belonged to my cousins:
Whew! What a month!
And if you follow me on Facebook or Instagram (@naptimedecorator), you saw the pic I posted earlier that the Big Boy Room is THISCLOSE to being 100% D-O-N-E! Hoping to post by the end of the week!
Hmm….after that’s done….what will June bring?! 🙂

Hi there! I’m Liz, a former teacher-turned-stay-at-home mom to three kids, with a passion to create a warm and inviting home on a budget. This blog all started when I’d put the babies down for a nap, and squeeze in a project during those precious couple of hours! My hope is that you visit this page and feel inspired to do a little “naptime decorating” of your own. Thank you so much for stopping by!
