I Got Nuthin’

Forgive me, friends.

I know it’s been a little quieter around here the past couple months. You see, Summer came. And it brought so much fun with it, that I can’t seem to bring myself to work on the 837 projects in my mind right now.

I promise, once September rolls around, the ND will bring it. Like it’s never been brought before, believe me. My mind is just going 1,000 miles a minute, with some awesome stuff in store.

So stay with me. I promise it’ll be good;)

This summer has been A-MAZ-ING. It’s been the first summer my kids have really gotten it. The beauty of staying up late, and sleeping in (can I get an AMEN!?). Lazy days at the pool. Playing with friends until way past dark, catching lightning bugs, coming in and eating ice cream. And I have just gotten to enjoy them so much. They’re getting to these ages where they’re turning into these cool little people. It’s like a whole new world this summer. I sit on my chair out front, have a glass of wine with my neighbors, and just take it all in. I thought I was a Fall nut. Turns out, I think there was a Summer Girl living there all along. It’s truly my favorite time of year now.

So for the next few weeks, until school rolls around, forgive me for the lack of crafty posts. I’ll be a little busy.
