Top Ten Posts of 2014

Wow, hard to believe I’m writing this post – feels like I JUST wrote my Top Ten of 2013 post! Time flies when you’re having fun, right?

Top Ten of 2014

This year started with a bang. Or should I say, a hack. Right at the beginning of January is when my old site was mysteriously no more, leading to starting my own site.

I thank you for sticking with me during those few weeks while I rebuilt, trying to dig up the old posts (some were sadly never recovered:( ), and seeing me through another year.

Which leads me to this post – here’s the most popular posts (based on comments) of the past year!

10. Making Bills Pretty! This filing system resonated with a lot of you – I mean, we ALL have bills, right?!

9. The Big Bad Dresser. Remember this transformation? From not so lovely, beat up wood to a coral dream!

8. Yard Sale Desk and Chair Makeover. This desk cost me $5 at a yard sale, and the chair was $4! Can’t beat a new table and chair for $9!

7. The Perfect Grey. Seriously. It IS the perfect grey!

6. Free Dresser Makeover. This could be one of my favorite dresser makeovers. EVER.

5. It’s My Time, and Now I Don’t Want It. This sappy post touched a lot of mommy hearts. Still brings a tear to my eye…

4. 52 Weeks. You all have been so amazing with your prayers and well wishes on my CVID journey.  In May, I had my one year anniversary, and I’m doing very well, thank God!

3. Fresh New Start and a Valentine’s DIY Frame. This post kicked off my new site and you all warmed my heart with your comments…and liked this fun little frame as well!

2. The Office Makeover. Six months later and I’m STILL smitten with this room! I was so happy with how it turned out, and so were YOU!

And….drum roll please….

1. The Bathroom Makeover! I can’t say that I’m surprised this was the most popular post of 2014 – if you saw the before, you know why! I’m still doing the happy dance when I walk in here. When that yellow toilet left the house, I think I cried tears of joy! 😉

So that’s a wrap! Did your favorite make the list?

Here’s to 2015 and all the fun projects in store! (Here’s a hint – one of the first posts will be my daughter’s finished room makeover! I have a feeling that one might be making this list for next year! 😉

I love your projects, your book suggestions, totally addicted to Fixer Upper now, and your short hair do.
