Happy Friday!

Have you recovered from Sunday’s THEN Tuesday’s This Is Us yet?! Good grief. I was not prepared for a new episode just a couple days later – geesh. My heart can only take so much! 😉

Speaking of, thank you for the comments on my last post – I’m so glad you all feel the feels with me and agree that that is one special show.

But let’s talk fun Friday faves, shall we?!

1. A Touch of Farmhouse Charm by Liz Fourez

Do you follow Liz’s blog? It’s called Love Grows Wild and I discovered her on Instagram last year. Her farmhouse style is just dreamy (her bedroom stopped me in my tracks!), and this book is chock full of beauty. Lots of lovely DIYs for every level, pretty pictures…it’s like eye candy for a farmhouse lover like myself. I zipped through this book in one sitting! And now I have quite the list of projects to try now…;)

2. Essie Nail Polish in Ballet Slippers

You guys, this is just the prettiest, softest, sweetest pink nail polish you’ll ever see. It’s funny, as soon as the temperature drops just a few degrees in September, I am all “Bring on the deepest, darkest nail polish colors! Black? YES! Grey? Bring it!” Then February hits and I’m seeing all the pretty pinks and start getting the slightest Springtime vibes…like the light at the end of the tunnel is near, because now we can technically say, “Spring is NEXT month!” 😉 So I get my Ballet Slippers polish out and breathe a breath of fresh air. This pic isn’t the best – I did one more coat after this and it’s kinda awkward to hold a heavy camera with one hand and try and snap a pic of your other one, but you can the idea. It’s pretty:)  It’s pink but not too pink – like a pale blush color. LOVE. I actually found it cheaper here on Amazon than I did at my local store, so yay for you if you wanna order!

3. The Greatest Showman

Have you seen this movie?? It might just be up there in my top 5 EVER. I took the kids to see it over Christmas break and we have listened to the soundtrack pretty much nonstop since then. It gives me alllll the feels. Even my 8 year old son – who did NOT feel like going – absolutely loved it and sings the songs around the house constantly. The kids had an ice day this week and we had a full on dance party in the kitchen to the ENTIRE soundtrack and it just reminded me how music can just be so darn powerful. I cannot WAIT for the DVD to come out! I looked it up to see when we can buy it (sometime in the Spring), and found out we can pre-order it now for a great price –

You better believe a family movie night is in order when that baby arrives!

Alrighty, that about wraps it up! You all have a fantastic weekend! XO

You are so right about This Is Us! I shed a tear (or tears) every episode! This show is amazing- the story line, the characters, the message….Wow! It touches on everyday struggles and societal issues without it feeling forced. Can’t say enough! And Kevin shirtless ,,,😀
Also, love Ballet Slippers, it’s the perfect neutral with a touch of pink !

    • SO GOOD, right?!! I’ve never felt so impacted by a fictional show before! (And with you on Kevin;) lol!) Hope you guys are doing well, I miss you!! XO

  2. I am ready for some new pink polish so I’ll be buying this one! Thanks!
Re: This is Us – whew! It’s interesting how a tv show can influence us so much – I immediately changed the batteries in our smoke detectors and bought two fire extinguishers!! I told hubby that we are having a fire drill this weekend! Lol! I miss Jack already (even though I know we’ll continue to see him). Thanks for turning me into this wonderful show!
    Happy Friday!

    • Right?! I bet a lot of people did just that, too!
And let me know how you like the polish -I think you’ll love it:) Thanks so much, have a great weekend! XO

  3. Did you know that the Queen of England wears only one nail polish? And it’s Essie’s Ballet Slippers?! I think that makes you practically royalty! 🙂
