Favorite Things Friday #18

Happy March, friends!! I can’t even believe it’s here – time really does fly, doesn’t it? We’ve had some glimpses of sweet sweet Spring and I am READY! Nothing like a beautiful day with the windows open to put a little um, spring in your step? (So sorry for that pun, I swear, it just came out!)

I finally picked the perfect day this past week to settle in with my latest Magnolia Journal, and I can’t believe I haven’t included THAT in my favorite things yet, so…

1. Magnolia Journal

There are no words for how much I adore this magazine. I mean, when it comes in the mail, I actually can’t even bring myself to read it right away because I don’t want it to be over and have to wait months again for another issue. I know. It’s absurd. But it’s a whole thing for me. I need to find just the right time to sit down with this beauty, and savor it. I found just the day this week. I sat on my couch in front of the open window, Charlie napping next to me, sipped on a cup of coffee and read it from cover to cover. It was GLORIOUS. It is the most inspiring magazine, and everything in there speaks to me like nothing I’ve experienced before. Joanna’s words always always always ring so true for me – I don’t know how she does it, but I feel like she puts my thoughts into words every single time. I wrote about it a bit last year around this same time, and here we are a year later, and this magazine is just as meaningful today.

If you haven’t read the Magnolia Journal yet, do yourself a favor and pick up a copy. Find the perfect time to sit down and savor it, and enjoy this special treat. 🙂

2. Sea Salt Vanilla Candle

I picked up this cute candle from Target recently – the first thing that grabbed my attention was the cute black and white checked print. (I’ve always been weird about my candles – I could be completely in love with the scent, but if it doesn’t match my decor, I can’t bring myself to buy it. anyone else like that?! Why can’t candles ALWAYS be neutral?! I mean, that purple candle might be the sweetest smell my nose has ever come in contact with, but it is just NOT going to vibe in my bedroom;)

But then I smelled it – and not only was it cute, but my nose approved big time!

(And it was called SEA SALT and VANILLA – two of my favorite things! 😉

Matches my decor AND smells fabulous? YES PLEASE! (And please don’t tell me I’m alone in my crazy with the matching thing??? Anyone else put down the yummy candle because it’s neon orange and you just can’t?? Anyone!?)

3. Favorite Lamp from Target

I have a lamp that has been in almost every room of this house and has moved YET again. It’s current home is in the “cloffice” (closet/office), and when I posted a pic recently on Instagram and Facebook, it seems that a lot of you also have it and love it! I bought it a few years back for our bedroom, and it’s still in stores so must be a popular one – and easy to see why. The cute shape, the linen shade…I just think it’s the cutest. It used to be on the tv dresser…

…and my husband’s dresser…

…and now in the cloffice:

Clearly this lamp can go ANYWHERE. Plain to see why it’s one of my favorite things, right?!

(And here’s a affiliate link for that too – Cream Target Lamp)

Alrighty friends, it’s time to start this day – have a wonderful weekend! XO
