Had the girls over last week for our monthly craft night. We went with a patriotic theme since July 4th is around the corner. I posted my DIY Map Art on Friday that I did, but let me share with you the cute creations my friends made!
We had a few wreaths…
And some fun tissue paper/Mod Podged mason jar lanterns – she’s going to attach some wire and hang these on her deck. How fun! (The green addition was a request from her daughter – her fave color and all;)
And this super cute sign my friend made with an old piece of wood she had at her house – she painted it, and printed out words in different fonts to trace onto it. She used a lead pencil – withOUT the lead – so the words would leave an imprint on the wood. Cool tip, huh? Then she traced some stars and freehanded a compass.
So that about wraps up June’s Craft Night…stay tuned for some July crafty fun! 🙂

Hi there! I’m Liz, a former teacher-turned-stay-at-home mom to three kids, with a passion to create a warm and inviting home on a budget. This blog all started when I’d put the babies down for a nap, and squeeze in a project during those precious couple of hours! My hope is that you visit this page and feel inspired to do a little “naptime decorating” of your own. Thank you so much for stopping by!
So many pretty things!! I really like the wreaths. 🙂
Have a blessed week…
